Book Care Tips

The 3rd grade has been learning about caring for books.  Here is a list of tips that Mrs. Pawling's class created in library class.

• Use a bookmark
• Uncrumple pages you find
• Remind people to care for books
• Don't rip pages
• Keep books away from pets and babies
• Keep books away from water and food
• Wash your hands before reading a book
• Don't bend the pages
• Don't throw books.  Set them down gently
• Don't dogear pages
• Keep books in a safe place
• Don't put books on the floor
• Don't write or draw on the pages
• Turn pages gently
• Don't leave books outside
• Keep books clean

This list will serve as excellent reminders for everyone!  Way to go 3rd graders!
