The newspaper had it's first meetings today. This morning students learned whether they were in session one or two (we had so many students wanting to be journalists we had to divide into 2 groups). Groups were drawn at random.
Later, Session One met. We set up our journalist folders. We did a short activity about interviewing. Each journalist interviewed someone at their table. We had time for half of the journalists to introduce the person they interviewed.
We finally went over the assignment for the week. It's posted on the Newspaper Page (click the Sherwood Newspaper tab at the top of this page).
