This Week in the Library: January 8-12

Here's what we did in library classes this week.

Primary Classes (K-3): We listened to another one of our Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award nominees, "Everyone Loves Bacon" by Kelly DiPucchio.  We talked about the type of character Bacon is and what surprised us about this book!  Vocabulary: ukulele, billboards, popular, celebrity.

Intermediate Classes (4-6, except Chase): We continued our introduction of the various best books for this year.  More information on the Best Book Page: BEST BOOK PAGE LINK

Grade 6 (Chase):  We tool the TRAILS pre-assessment.  This assessment was on information/library skills.

Professional: Completed the WCCPBA "If You Liked" booklet. Attended at WLA vision statement meeting.  Attended a Puget Sound Council book review meeting and presented 3 book reviews during the meeting and selected more books to review!
